I Escaped!

Hahaha! The beans had a window open just a tiny, tiny bit. They saw me on the window sill, looking outside at these pretty flowers in my yard. Sometimes I see neighborhood kitties over here too. The beans called me down from the window and closed it even more. But then I did a magic trick! I jumped back up on the window sill. The Food Lady Bean was getting a drink of water and I just squeezed through the little opening and jumped down!!! Uh, it was a lot farther down than I thought. The Food Lady Bean ran outside and the Food Dude Bean ran to the door closest to me to let me in. First I tried to jump back up inside the house through the window. But it was very, very far and I could not leap that high. Then I cried for a few seconds and got scared. Then I went inside where the Food Dude Bean had opened the door.

Here I am contemplating my escape. I think I will stay inside for a while.

  1. Jackpot, you should remember how very scary it is outside. Buy your beans some heavy duty window screens, they will appreciate it. You stay inside where you will be safe!

  2. Oh, Jackpot! What an adventure you had! But we think staying inside is better!!

We see your furs are starting to grow back nicely!! Won't be long now before you are back to normal!!

Oh yeah...tell your food lady that we do have lilac bushes here!! They haven't bloomed yet...but we can see the beginnings of some flowers!! Sometimes mom cuts some flowers off the bush and brings them in the house. They smell sooooo good!! We hope she'll bring some flowers in this year!

  3. Aacccckkkkk! Jackpot, Annie and Derry and our human all think you should stay inside and be safe. And not scare your humans like that! Nicki, however, is all for escape and adventure by any means possible. Don't listen to him. Seriously.

  4. Whoa! I hope you learned not to do that again. Although adventure is good for the soul, I strongly suggest you find it in paper towel wrestling than out in the scary world.
I am glad you are safe and inside.
You're looking good BTW! Your furs are growing in awesome and your expression is more relaxed. Like you know you're home and safe. Love it!

  5. Jackpot,
Escape might be fun...but living outside is NOT. I got out for 3 days and it was terrible. No food, soft beds, or pettings. Awful!

  12. Well, we can't blame you. We would like to do that sometimes too. But it really is nicer being kept inside.

  14. Wow, welcome to the club of escapistas! I was a very good escape artist too until my mom put up a netting in front of the windows. Hrmpf!
